COHS(Church of Our Holy Saviour, Labuan)

First of all,Ravin,u are right,it's time to customise the blog wif pictures,so after thinking a while on wad shud I put, I've decided to put up sumthing on our church instead. I guess I'm putting this up because it was eventually a place where I should consider as a place where I grew up spiritually(I guess alot of ppl will agree wif my point especially to those who have been the same church with me,right?..) Anyway, lotsa thx to the COHS especially to the supervisors like Albert, Wai Chee, Mr. Ding,Raymond and Emily, Rev David Wong(priest in-charge), Christina, the Church staffs and church members that have provided us many helps and care, love and everything else during our one year programme at Labuan. Representing the AMCF 06/07, I would like to thx for everything especially the warm atmosphere that the church hav provided for us especially during church service. Thanks and May God Bless in your ministry in serving God....Be a Blessing....

the bell tower of the church

the best thing of all,it's near to the Botanical Garden of Labuan..juz walk across the road and u r there..hehe

this is my duty though...the logistic ppl have to take the attendance for the AMCF every week...hehe

sempat juga take picture of flower juz to show the flowers available at the church compound...tidak ada unsur curi tulang...

one of a kind sign that i've found at the church is dis..the reverse parking..u won't c it in many places though...anyway,i've found another weird sign but unfortunately no picture of it is available,it is "Don't rub your sweat against the curtain"..

Albert's car(our supervisor)..notice dat...Bobby and I are in a ride to town...hihi

This sign is really cool..it stated 'Fat ppl are harder to Kidnap'...yeah i totally agree wif dat..except if the kidnapper is a world weightlifting champion as carrying a person as fat as 100kg...honestly,I think i will go fainted..haha

Anyway more post and pictures of other stuffs will be coming up soon ...i promise..to be continue...

Poster

Hey, for those of u out there, anyone lah especially to those who r planning to go for matriculation programme this coming batch...u ppl should hav a look at 'da poster'... courtesy from syednasir.com

What a Day.,.

Before i get this started,i should said that it has been a long time for not posting any post dis year until yesterday.it was due to the few factors and among it should be how busy it was in matriculation dat makes me unable to write my blog. I apologise for not updating my blog for a long time.
Moving on to wad has happened or perhaps wad hav i done on the 1st of May. Today i supposed it is one of my day after i came back here which i considered as not bored. What a day indeed..hehe.Anyway,my parents and I managed to go to few towns near the 'Tip of Sarawak'. It has been a long time since the last visit to the town of Bau,Lundu, and Sematan.Nice to c the surroundings around especially when u are longed for it as i should say dat the surrounding in Sarawak is different from Labuan...hehe. Here are a few things that i cn say about this three towns and difference between them.
Bau-it's a town near to the Lake(Tasik Biru). It was developed as it was once an area rich of Gold. Thus,it was developed then so that gold mining is made available here.Tasik Biru was the place where the Gold mining was carried out and it was left emptied until it gathers water and become a lake...haha.Anyway,i like Bau's name in chinese rather than the Bahasa Malaysia's name.
Lundu-I can't find any record of this town. But it's a town located near to the river which i guess it was from the river area that this place is developed. It is a town worth a visit oso as it offers variety of stuffs like jungle products.
Sematan-Beach!!!!!...when u talked about Sematan,i guess most ppl will say about the beach instead.it's a town near to the beach and i juz found out that there are many ppl goin to sematan during off day or weekend juz to ease their mind and relax after a long week of working. Surprisingly, I found even a Rumah Rehat for Pegawai Kanan Kontinjen Sarawak, Polis Diraja Malaysia. Well,if u r thinking of relaxing ur mind or juz wanna kill ur weekend of boredom, definitely,Sematan can be the place.
It was the first time even for me to drive long distance but i should say dat most of the driving was done by my dad instead as i'm still not used to the road these towns.Anyway, after i've got back here in kch(hey,it was only a day trip),i've decided to do gardening instead in front of my house.I guess i should say dat it was my first time of trimming trees...and the outcome...it looks nice, but my hand got allergy...and eventually a few cuts due to the torns on some of the trees.

time Flies....

Again, thinking of it after one week back here in kch,i still dun hav any plans on wad to do for dis 2 months holiday b4 entering Uni.I guess dis few days at home should b considered to b 'membosankan' especially after u've experienced hectic life in college, where time matters for everything u do.it's like racing for the time when i was in Matriculation. Anyway, one of my friends,Bobby eventually told me dat he felt like why is the day so long as compared to in matriculation. My answer to him was 'bob, everyday u hav things to b accomplished there, but in ur house and hometown,u don't have anything to achieve right?' anyway, over this past few days, i've been sleeping, eating,go online, watching drama(Princess Hour),then doing chores that my mom asked me to do,goin out,then..blabla etc...Life's without anything to b consider can b consider bored and u might ends up realising that u have spent one whole day doin crappy stuffs or juz wasting it for nothing.By the Way,i manage to get my friend,Joshua to come to my house to collect his books as he will b goin to matrics for the next batch, the one thing i was so surprise ws he strikes lotsa questions relating on matrix life, but frankly speaking,it will b fine if u comply wif the rule.hehe,biasalah.Nasib baik all the stuffs can b put n leave it wif our lecturer at LAbuan,or else i've to carry it back n he has to carry it to labuan again. For ur info,my luggage was overweighted,n i hav to pay freaking Rm56 juz for my luggage(cut my throat lah..i almost pokai dat day...reli thx to Eric for helping me out dat day..Arigato).I only hope dat he can experience the life dat i went thru in matrics dat's quite wonderful when i think about it.it makes u to b more independent and can b more matured.Hey,dun put matrix it's like an easy life there, coz its get tougher especially during the 2nd semester.i takes lotsa efforts as u r learning sumthng new everyday...n everything hav to b cramped to ur head...squezzed it into our hand..hmm(will talk about dat next time)
After meeting wif Joshua n his Parent,i continue wif my 'easygoin' life of juz watching tv,listening to the music..and goin online...n online again...hey,i can't think of anything i can do today.hmm..any suggestions for the next few days??

All decisionS making

Finally, we can get into online again after the college's cyber was closed for about a month ++ for upgrading process of the computers to windows XP...so late huh...dat the newer version of Windows that is Windows Vista that will b launch soon.anyway, i've got a chance to go online and try to look on the courses available in local Universities, guess what, there are most likely hundreds of courses to choose from. from the popular courses like doctor, engineerings, pharmacy and bla bla bla...to the unpopular courses like ...sains perhutanan. Well, not only that , we need to b wise in choosing not only the course that can get a person into university but to choose the university itself. I'm currently trying to find the universities that i think 'suit' me...wadever it is lah...anyway, after thinking through a few factors and probably my interests as well, i've chosen Aerospace Engineering as my first choice, followed by Civil engineering as the 2nd...the rest..i'm still considering it...as this stuff concerns of my future....anyway, i just hope that i will get the course that i want...and probably the one that i like.MOving on to another case case happen this week, as i log in into the UPU website to look on my form..i found out that my race is Chinese and it turns out to be both my parents are considered as chinese...gosh, isn't it ridiculous to find out that i am an Iban and out of sudden it appeared that i'm a chinese in the form.anyway for your information, we cannot change the race as they get those datas from JPN. and even our SPM result have been filled and they are permanently there. In this situation, it means that, i've another problem to face...well, life is full of challenge, rite??not only that, few of my friends also happen to be the same situation like me, most of them are mixed races like me,Iban-chinese, Bidayuh-chinese and so on. After consulting our college's information and technology officer, the problem should be considered half solve. All we need to do is to wait for the reply from the Ministry of Higher Education's reply regarding the matter. Anyway, just pray that everyting will b resolve soon....lastly, just want to wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God Bless =D
