40 cent

What is wrong with all some of the food court nowadays especially here in Klang Valley. I don't want to say this but it just annoyed me when this thing happened. How can a glass of warm water cost 40cent??!! It's not from Evian or some high class drink imported from Europe. It is not even mineral water or processed water from the factory. It is just water from SYABAS which is free for the 1st 2o cubic metres. The water they served doesn't even go through filteration or more advance tech like ionization or 'mineralization'. It is just water that has been boiled an cooled for quite sometime to become warm water aka air suam. What is worse is those people from the food court really took advantage from the price hike few months ago to hike something which is totally unacceptable. Is the water produced from crude oil?? NO!!I don't mind to pay extra if the water they served at least has quality in it. but to pay 40cents for paip water that I have it also in my home, I would say No, This will be the last time I will be ordering drinks from the food court ever. I feel cheated with their drinks. I don't believe it at first when the waiter told me it's 40cent, my spontaneous reaction was "huh, 40 sen, kenapa mahal sangat?". He never answer me anything and just showed me the receipt and told me "sini, tulis Sky Juice, 40sen"...gosh, I told him the same phrase again, and he don't want to reply me anymore. 40 sen and your service is so useless...
I don't mind calling skyjuice at those food court if it is only 20 cent of 30 cent or even free( yes, I found one mamak store here who serve free sky juice in condition you order their food lah....)isn't that good if you just offer people free drink rather than cheating people by charging paip water for 40 cent which I think still unacceptable especially those conditions mentioned above plus I'm sitting by the roadside, with no air cond and the ambient is a whore as it is beside the big drain somemore...*sigh*
what is wrong with those food court operators....

Sharing people's Joy???

Which one is much more harder? sharing people's joy? or sharing people's sadness?
This was the question that the invited speaker throw to us. My thought that time were, surely people's sadness because sadness is hard for us to listen to people's sad story. After he paused for a while, he answered, "it's people's Joy...". The reason behind this is that, do you normally see a bunch of people happy when a person is in joy. For example, if people were promoted to a much a higher post, there are surely people who are not impressed or jealous of the person who got promoted. This was one of the example given by Dr. Christopher Ash who came to Malaysia for the first time of his life from England.
What he said was actually so true when I experienced it first hand when it comes to this question. Never would I expect people to say this to me when I throw this question to them. It happened when I received a text message from one of my coursemates asking me whether want to join in to go to the convocation of our super senior that happened today. I answered yes as long as there is someone picking me up from my apartment. I was actually referring to my housemates aka my coursemates as well.
Ok, here is what happened when I approached this question to those people in the house with transport. One of them answered with a definitive answer of NO...another one also replied NO...so ok, the 3rd person, ...I don't know them well, they senior did not invite me. if I go also no point....if the others go, I will go also.
So, it forces me to make a decisions which I totally regret and feel sorry about that is not going. I'm feeling so bad until now. Anway, the story doesn't end there. Later on, another coursemates of our own eventually called us to see whether we are going or not. What piss me off by then is the way they handled the conversation. Imagine, the phone is pass on from a person to another and it was forwarded to 3 person, and my coursemate had to repeat his question 3 times and what he get were all No. OMG!!! if they ever treat me that way, I don't know what will happened to me. By the way, they did not pass the phone to me as I don't have a transport.
As I ponder upon my decision which I made earlier, I realised that I made a mistake by following their decision. Can you imagine staying with those bunch of people who never bother anything that happened around them. If you are reading 3 posts before this, you will know by now who I am talking about. Can you imagine I'm following those people's decision, gosh!!! I should not. way not. I just can't believe that I'm living in the same roof with the people who only have their world evolves around their study, watching drama, playing Dota, listening to the same song every now and then, going to the same shop to eat over and over again and never get tired of it. Another person who was not part of them is not observing the Sabbath day any longer which I was kind of not really content about. If he does it again, I will advice him this time around. It was so bad that, he went to meetings, rather than keep the sabbath day holy. surprisingly. He is the one who get used and understand more the way of living as a true christian more than me. surprise surprise, there is always a twist....hmmm...
Ok, let me check what are they doing now, since they don't even make a move of going to the convocation, are they really busy??
OMG, all of them are studying, looks like studying for finals are more important than any other stuffs. Even losing respects from others, they are willing to sacrifice. Is that all about life, everything study? Maybe for them, they live to study. I'm not their parents either. It is their life. I'm not in charge of it. I can only advice them if they went too much of something(in this case not study...). For me, I'd rather pause for a while to do some other more 'humane' things like blogging this post and hope that it serves as an advice so that, anyone of you out there can ponder upon.
Anyway, I just realised that some of those people in the house are really demanding and the fact that sometime they are just 'tin kosong' (my definition for tin kosong( empty can is quite different, I will explain later). One of those things that I observed are some of them will not involve themselves in any activities that doesn't benefit them. It is so bad to the step that once I asked them to join, they answered me with the weirdest and most ridiculious answer around, It was '...if there is a post without working, i will join...", the answer kept us all laughing that time. But as I looked back at it, it shows sometime negative on them. Guess what I found out recently, one of them rather pay RM120 member fee to join Golden Key society. haha, funny though, society that doesn't requires member fee, he doesn't want to join. He just purely look down on they other 'low class' societies. He rather joined the prestigious one. What is the different in joining Golden Key with other societies around?? probably he joined it because of fame. undeniable...Guess what, that is the first society he joined in UPM... gosh, this one really irritates me. For those of you who didn't know about Golden Key, Golden Key is a society that is only open to those smart as* in the school. Their requirement for you to join....CGPA must be 3.50 and above. I will not join this society even if I scored CGPA 4.0...over my dead body....
The reason are
1) From my opinion, why should a society restrict and opens only to high achiever, it is clearly a look down on people who score less than that CGPA. In God's eyes, everyone is equal...mind you
2) It is just plain unacceptable if a society give a letter congratulating people on their result and talk all the hu...ha about wah, u score 25% of what is required for your whole 4 years course and then invites people to join their society providing you pay rm120 as a membership fees. They never specifies what is their rm120 for...just said it is membership fee. Can you imagine, they ask Rm120 from students. If you pay rm120 then you are part of 'US'. If you don't pay, even if you score 4.0 CGPA also no use. Can you imagine a poor fellow who is a genius and got rejected because he is poor. Stupid. It is clearly a society for the rich and smart people.
All in all, this society really insult a lot of people by the way the run the society although it has a lot of benefits joining them.

Going back to earlier statement, What I meant by 'Tin Kosong' (empty can) was on the appearance, they are clever and good at study but beneath everything, can you imagine, those basic things also they don't know how to do. For example, budgetting, they just spend and spend like our house is growing money tree. I know, some of them have their parents giving them money every week... they don't have sense of responsibility even. Another example is, one of them don't even know how to wash his cloth. that is like the basic thing, which is washing cloths and still he don't know how to do it. All he did is to bring it back for his mother to wash every weekend...gosh!!!no money, go back ask parents, want to wash cloths, bring back for mommy to wash. Where is the sense of independence. I would not mentioned about cooking cause many people out there nowadays cannot cook. Not only that, basic thing of repairing the toilet also I have to do for them...where's the sense in that...
I guess I really need more air to breath here. There are just too much bad aura around, kiasu-ness, ignorance, disrespect, no sense of responsiblity, look down on people, and lastly sellfish....I really need air to breath in here. argh....
Only one of my housemates is ok and not towards that zone which I mentioned above. It started with two person, now it is spreading to the 3 person. the other guy I just mentioned is just playing on the safe side. I'm the one starting to be rebellious. I really need air to breath, look at what they've changed me, I used to be earlier to class, never late...now I need to follow their car and I'm late also. I rarely and very very very very seldom 'ponteng' but now I did it. And now, I just want to be good and sharing people's joy but was influenced by them. It is such a pain in the neck. Everytime I study also I'm not studying in peace. the aura of kiasu-ness is there everytime. Gosh I need peace to study and to pass my exam and that's all...please!!!
*big sighs* and *big relieves*, so what is your stand now, sharing people's joy is harder or sharing people's sadness? Looks like I've just shared my thoughts and my sorrow that have been with me for so long. Not that I don't want to share people's advantages but it is so hard for me to find one among all of them. It is so hard, the only thing that I can said is they are clever, and that's it...
God I really pray and need your help to go through this and help me strong be strong to endure this 'storm'. I really hope that I can become a better person that go strong to my faith and to what I believe in.
Song playing in my mind now- Learning to Breath by Switchfoot
For those who read this long post until this far, I personally thank you for listening to my thoughts and rants. It is just to hard for me to keep it into myself...thanks ya

This feeling of mine...

Sometime, there are stuffs that I want to let go but I don't even know whether I should do it or not. But it feels bad sometime when this thing really happened to me. I think I never said this before but it was bad enough when everytime any decisions are made, I need to consider other people's feelings. Why I don't care about my own feelings? If don't follow the taste of the guys and started to use my own, they won't even look at you and started to ignore you, some even scold you. At the end, I've to change everything to suit them. why don't it be the other way round where they suit me. Why it always happen to me. Anything happening, I have to follow their needs but not mine. Because of this, I realise that I'm more and more not my own self, rather I'm transform into a guy that is different than when he was 2 years back. It is just so bad that you can notice that those who did not see me for the past 2 years will realise that I'm changed, not in term of physical looks but my attitude. For some of you, I might be still the nice guy from what you've thought, but the surrounding here really effects me a lot. Why should I follow other people's rythm and not into my own self? After watching episode 5,season 2 of the Gossip Girl, I just realise that I'm changed(and I mean a lot...)because I need to suits not one people but lots of people's rythm.
I really wish that I could turn back who I was back then. I really hope and pray that God can help me through this. I'm trying to change to a much better me where, I have control of my life rather than other people. The feeling of have to follow other people's feelings and thoughts really awful and when the people just ignore or don't bother you when you don't follow their needs really make me sad. Why don't we just tolerate?
I'm trying to be optimistic here, so I will try to be myself back and thus ensure that I'm no more different than before. Anyway, praise the Lord for making me realise how important it is to know myself and my own weaknesses, I will try to overcome those weaknesses around. ;)
Yes, like the caption on my blog Ability is what you're capable of doing,Motivation determines what u do,Attitudes determines how well you do it.......Attitudes really determines how well I do it. I guess I'm still lack in that. I'm so grateful that I put the caption on the first place, now it serves a reminder for myself for what is ability, on what is motivation and finally Attitudes.....
p/s: Don't worry, those who are close to me are not affected by this. This phenomenon only happened in my Uni life here. I hope I can overcome this obstacle. To, My friends from the matrics and secondary school, I still cherish the memories of my life back then. Thanks for being part of it....hehe...

Mamma Mia!

This movie is yet another recommended movie that is worth your money to watch in cinema this year. It is a musical movie which I think one of the best in its genre that it can beat the high musical. I'm taking this for real. Surely, The Dark Knight is the best movie this year so far in my own opinion. Eventually you can't get a movie that has its storyline suits the lyrics of the songs that were made popular by Abba. Usually, songs were composed to suit the movies but this is the other way round. The songs were suitable for some scenes that you think that Abba composed all the songs in a story form before producing it.haha...
Anyway, the plot of the story is about a daughter, a mother and a three possible father. One day, the daughter found out about this, and decided to invite all the three possible father to attend her wedding, so who will be the father...it is for you to find out from the movie.heee
This should be the first time that I saw actor like Pierce Brosnan eventually singing, it is kind of weird for me to see a guy who used to be a 007 and becoming a singer...haha. Eventually, the lady who sat besides me sing along those songs featured in the film. Another odd things, that you won't notice is that, people don't start to leave the cinema after the film finish, but to stay for a while to listen to the song feature in the credit part. A sense of reluctant perhaps. Normally, people just leave the cinema the minute they saw the credit. It is contrary.
No wonder this show is still feature in Broadway and it is still a hit till this day especially after the movie adaptation of it is released. You see, it is feature in Broadway some more, High school musical isn't....so do watch it when have time....

My thoughts

haha, it's once again the time of the semester where all the madness will occur, practically it is the exam period again and you can find people are getting more tension about it. This scenario happens to me as well haha...and it is once again where you can find I do odd stuffs that normally I don't do during the normal day. One of it is staying late until morning to study( it seems common for some people right??). Anyway, other than that, I don't know why I can make stupid jokes sometime that I don't even know how I got it...it just spark off and I just conveyed it on the spot. haha...Another one is to blog at 4am in the morning...haha.And it is just the 13rd week of study and not yet to the exam period. I think I'm feeling the heat of the exam more seriously than before. Thanks to the arrangement of the Aerospace department that put all the crucial subjects in one semester. Probably i have been talking about the subjects that I'm talking, and I'm going to mention it again.darn... Vibration(easy to understand but tough to derive the equations, I don't even know how the geniuses got them all relate to each other), Eng maths III(final all maths subject that I'm going to take..yay!!, it's the highest level in bachelor degree..and it shows it is the toughest lah...) , Mechanics of Materials(haha...I failed the first test for no reason), Statistics(quite easy but as you leveled up, gosh, u don't understand why certain statistics it is for), aerothermodynamic(long name which is only available in UPM, but I enjoy the subject very much),E&E technology(not to my liking...that's why I choose Aerospace). So eventually, we have to go through tough time this semester no matter what.
Our lecturers even went nuts and gives us quiz and quiz and some of it is done every week....gosh, I'm so tired of it...but no matter what, I have to be optimistic about that, I have goals that I need to achieve besides balance out my life so that I won't be tilted to any side. whether it is studies, activities, play, sleep, physically, mentally, and my spiritual life. It is crucial to have a dynamic life.I don't want to only concentrated much on study as I think I need to live life to the fullest...hmm..perhaps you might agree or not agree with me, it is just my personal opinion on the way of living, or perhaps my way of living. To be in the dean's list is not what I need like some people here who are dying for it. For me, to be in it is an advantage and I will try my best towards it and I won't be dying for it. It is pointless though if you can achieved that standard and you are bad at other things, you are just as bad as it is. Like an apple, you want to have only one side that is nice and when you flip to the other end, it is rotten. I'd rather be an apple that is almost perfect whenever you turn the apple. Getting into the list doesn't mean that you are qualify for anything, like not to do or participate in anything. Getting into the list doesn't mean that you are exceptional or on top of all the rules.
And yet, it doesn't mean that you can do anything you like and just forget it when you have done it wrong. I only will salute and respect those who get into the Dean's list and they are good in a lot of stuffs which is not academic related. That is what I call the real Dean's list recipients. Yes, I may sound a bit bias but my intention is to show you certain people around that is just like that. The people which takes books as their God and 'worship' it. when asked about other stuffs, they don't know about it. Their life is just evolved around the books. Asked on whether they want to join activities, they give lots of excuses and demands for a post that doesn't requires any work( what the heck is a post without work?!!!!!). maybe can ask to sit and do nothing. If want to succeed in life, we need to work for it and not to ask that question. It really get on my nerve when people responded that to me. Yet, they are the one that doesn't have any precaution about basic things, Is it the higher you study, the more stupid they become?? Yes, It happened, can you imagine those people wasting stuffs and never care about it. Can you imagine that they don't care about their belonging and waited until it is absolutely torn and worn out then they change it?? (illustration: can you imagine, you only treat your cancer when it is only in the final stage of it) funny right, some people are like that. When asked to treat or change it..their respond is, 'aiya...don't care lah, next time when it is about to rosak baru change lah.." OMG....
=___='''
Getting into the list is not above everything and means that you don't need to do other stuffs. I wonder who will hire them the next time when they go out to work? their parents maybe? So fare I have encountered a few( not many people ) who are like this. I swear that you will feel disgust if you are the balance type of people. I'm not only the one that notice that. And about the people that I can respect and deserved to be in the list...I do know a few. I really respect those people. It is what I called deserved for their hard work. For example, one of my super senior, who are graduating this year eventually got into the Dean's list, was a president, active in sports, spiritually matured, balance in everything he do, he cares a lot and totally, he deserve the credits.
Probably you might think that I'm jealous or anything, but I'm telling the truth, and I just want to show that life isn't just about study and don't care about other things. Needless to say, I want to emphasize that their footsteps doesn't occurs on you guys. I will be happy if any of my friends who have tried their best to be balance in all things. If they fail, I will encourage them, If they score or achieved their targets, I will be happy and proud of them as they have made an effort in it. You know who you are...

P/s: It is just purely my opinion, so don't worry about it. ohya, the other odd things that I can do during the exam period is to rant about my opinion and motivate myself after that...ehhe(Frank Sinatra's song- I did it my way)teehee...Anyway, good luck to all those who are sitting for their exam.
;)

this is what I have taken over a year or to be more specific, 10 months or less. Altogether it's 16 subjects. I didn't know about it until when I checked the ESMP on the website. ESMP is an website for courses registration, to check result and those related to courses. Anyway, I never realize that it has been a year since the thrills and nervousness in waiting for the UPU result. The memory of those days just flashes back at me. Although I'm not getting those result nowadays, but I still can feel the aura when it was announced. And I could never expect that, I can take up 8 subjects per semester in four months or 14 weeks time. whoa...and I could not imagine that I'm in 2nd year now although the subjects that I'm taking will be less than in first year. 2nd year will be one of my busiest year of all I guess as I will be in a lot of activities in University especially faculty level. Most of all, I need to save money, life nowadays is hard as everything has increased. Sooner or later, everything will goes up. Inflation will be higher. There are actually one cure to this situation from my own perspective. That is if new invention of oil is found to replace the current fossil fuels. It may sound strange but the person who actually can invent this hydrocarbon change similar to fossil fuels, that person is going to monopolize the world economy. Or perhaps, if new invention of something replaceable to oil and can be installed in every vehicles. I'm saying this as even if new breed of vehicles are built like hybrid cars, the effects now won't be a lot. It can only affects the future not the current situation. I bet that everyone is very reluctant to actually sell their car even if this Hybrid cars are mass produce. So, it won't change the economy landscape for now. You have to wait till hybrid cars is as cheap as a Perodua Kancil on the road, then people might consider it.
One thing came to my mind when I mentioned about something that can replace oil. It was the De Lorean inside The 'Back to The Future II' movie, where Doc installed Mr Fusion, Home Energy Reactor...where he uses garbage as the alternative fuel. It's weird but it's applicable as garbage can be turn gold in the fact that buying fossil fuels now is like buying gold.

Holiday

It’s weird sometime to find out that you are having your holiday but doesn’t seem like you are having that holiday mood. This is what I’m experiencing for now even it is a week holiday but in fact I have ‘tonnes’ of works awaiting me. I’m dealing with a few assignments that my group leader for the assignment kept nudging us to finish everything by next week. It’s not a simple assignment though, I guess you guys most at least heard of the Ethnical Relations( Hubungan Etnik ) subject which is offered in all local government Universities ( IPTA ), and it’s one of the three compulsory subjects offered by all IPTA and regardless what course you are taking, you cannot escape from taking those subjects. The other two subjects is Nationhood ( Kenegaraan ) and TITAS ( Tamadun Islam dan Asia ). The other 2 subjects, I’ve managed to take it last semester, and luckily didn’t fail it. Anyway, go straight to my point here, unlike the other two subjects, The Ethnical Relations is based on, (let me put it in a way you can understand) 30% theories, and the rest, all craps. It’s like reading a story book when you are reading the text book. For those of you who don’t enjoy reading story books, you might fall asleep in the process especially when you make an effort to read it at night. This really happen to me the other day when I’m reading it at night, after reading it for 15 minutes, I went sleepy and sleep on for 2 hours before I found out that it’s 12am and I still had a few homework untouched. One thing that I don’t really like about the book is that, the book is a little one sided and it supports only the government’s stands. I’m not asking that the authors to support both the opposition and the government but at least, the book should be a neutral book which mean, not supporting any parties. One of the example in the book is the ‘rakyat’ should not support the opposition as they are not capable of governing the country. At this point, I’m not sure whether the author is clearly not aware of the stands of every political party. Every political party has one aim, that is to serve their ‘rakyat’ and I don’t think they are stupid enough to bully their ‘rakyat’. What I’m implying here is, don’t judge the book by its cover. Anyway, the author has a good job in not mentioning any sensitive issues on ethnical relations, who can be praised, the only thing that the book should not do is to be one-sided. It’s not really obvious in the book, but you can sense that the author is trying to educate people to support only the government by praising the government. Hey, the people are clever enough to choose what is good for them. Hey people, are you tired to read what I’m talking about? The same situation like you are reading the books which contains lots of craps like mine here….Anyway, I would like to emphasized that I’m not supporting both the government or the opposition, I will still remain neutral.
Continue on with my assignments. Our Ethnical Relation’s Lecturer requires us to translate a book for him.Gosh…. luckily it’s a chapter for each group. To my surprise my friends from that are taught by other lecturers do not require them to translate a book. From this point, I can sense that, our lecturer is doing it for himself and he pretended that it’s part of the assignments. At the end of the day, other people with different lecturers can get easily by doing one assignment, but for us, it’s double the work.
Another reason that makes me feel not like a holiday for me is apparently, I have a test on next Monday, which is the next day after I’ve return to UPM. Gosh, it is really odd to carry back the notes back in Kuching, and to realise that you didn’t even touched it until just now, when it’s only 3 more days to go before the test…haha!!!
Honestly speaking, it’s hard to feel relax for me now, although I’m trying to.
Ok, I’m moving to another stuff which I think it’s worth sharing from my past few weeks experience. This is what I call a very normal life in university, where you found yourself:
1) You are lack of sleep, and you don’t have even the time to take a nap in the afternoon or evening.
2) Your weekend doesn’t seem like a weekend, instead it’s like weekdays, not even Sunday you have a good rest.
3) You are worry of this and that and it turns out that you missed a few things due to the fact that you have lots of things to do. In other word, terlupa…
4) Sleep very late at night…or very early in the morning.
5) You are chasing the university buses so that you won’t miss the earlier bus to go the next destination.
6) No time exercise and do work out.
7) You found yourself eagerly in need to distress yourself. One of the methods is to eat more. Which explain why I’m gaining a little weight + lack of exercise.
8) You are caution of the timeframe given.
9) Almost everyday, you have at least a meeting to keep yourself ‘pampered’ with tasks….
10) No time to chat with friends, or even sms them, most of my sms sent were for official use.
11) Talk lots of crap and do stupid stuffs to keep yourselves amuse…like the one above
12) A few of my friends opt to play DOTA before they went to bed and it happens to my roommate…hehe
13) No time and lazy to blog, even after having a nice story to tell
14) Very cautious about time, this happen to me the day before I come back to Kuching. I did something that my KL friend doesn’t believe what I did. I went to and fro The Pavilions in just less than 4 hours from UPM at Serdang. This includes, taking bus from UPM to KTM Serdang, using KTM to KL sentral, From KL sentral to Bukit Bintang using Monorail, and then walk to Pavilions. Then same thing happens when I went back. Plus the waiting for buses, KTM and Monorail. Not only that, I did my packing the night before….and did my next day presentation that night as well for the presentation the next day.
15) Almost everyday, headache is experienced; luckily it’s just for a while. It’s actually the indication that I need to take a rest.

I know that they are people out there who experience worse case than mine, so I won’t say that my life is ‘absolutely normal’ than the others.

Today I will be going back University, back to the busy life. 3 big events will be happening this month alone

Election

Once again it’s election time and all the candidates to be the next batch of students’ representative council have definitely made all the efforts they could in order to ‘fish’ some polls to them. Well, it’s the first time this year I’m in the university and it’s kind of cool looking at how people ‘perang’ to win the heart of the each student. Actually, this is not the first time I’m in this condition. Our matriculation or perhaps the all the matriculations are compulsory to have election as stated in the law of “Akta 174”…ya, I know I know, it’s over now, I’m not bound to that law now…but It’s “Akta UKU” which stands for akta universiti dan kolej universiti.
The war of posters started yesterday, and our college is transformed like transformer in just one night into a place full of posters of erm…handsome or not so handsome, pretty and not so pretty faces of the candidates. All put up their posters everywhere and it seems like the number of posters somehow increasing like mushroom after the rain..haha… all of the candidates have their own manifestos and one thing that matters to me is will the things that they mentioned be done?? From my previous experience, most of the promises are just “janji kosong” and it never happened at the end of the day even the last day in matriculation. Darn…but from what I observed, the manifestos that they put were kinda moderate and it’s not that drastic like what was happened on matriculation.
For example, some candidates fight for the transportation to be improved, some emphasized on the reconsideration on the library opening and closing time. Nonetheless, some fight for the benefit of the students like meal plan etc. It was total different from the matriculation where some ‘stupiak’ fellow eventually manifested on having a live watching final of the world cup last year at the big hall. Some even fight for water cooler to be placed everywhere in the dorm. At the end of the day, everything just ends up nothing. Those people pula have the privileges of this and that without doing much effort. It feels like the votes is ‘sia-sia’.
Anyway, moving on to the election here, since yesterday, I have received numerous leaflets saying “undilah saya”. Yesterday was the worse, in just less than an hour, I received four leaflets of different people and they put it under the door. Hmm…I wish I could catch those person that give out all the leaflets. Hopefully by the next few days, I won’t see any posters on the door of the toilets when people are doing their business inside. Perhaps people might draw at it with the ‘brown’ colouring at their faces or even some might use it to wipe in case of emergency.
I wonder what is it trying to show...but it ends up that one of the candidates with a surname of Show...

Posters and posters everywhere, including the bus stops....

The many leaflets that came into my door....

Guess what? Everything that they put on and every creativities they did all just went nothing after the shower of blessing just blew up everything. I guess it should be God’s message to them that we must save our trees, that’s the consequence if human does not take care of the property. Another thing that I think can be ponder upon is a person abilities can be judged through this occurance. If a person is meant to lead us, he will succeed no matter what happen even if he has less poster than the other, he or she can still win it, right? Hey, university students should be smarter enough to think of who is the better person to lead. Posters here and there is not a way of showing that you are capable. One should have proved it. They have to know how the leaders of the past wins the people’s heart. It’s somehow not the amount of poster puts, but through their abilities shown, by the way, putting poster is kind expensive if it was 100 years back. Ponder on how President Suekarno did or perhaps Mahatma Gandhi…..hehe, I better stop been so much enthusiast in talking about this issue. I guess I can crap a lot about a certain issue due to the fact that I was trained to do so since form 4. Most graduated from this place can really crap a lot also.hehe. I know a few of you understand what I was talking about.

The examples of the posters that were left the way it shouldn't after the heavy shower...

The leaflets that were left unattended at the corridor...poor...

Move on to another story, finally everything is over, my assignments, test, presentations and all those craps around. Hehe, after the test on Friday, I decided to have my hair cut after few months I did not cut it. My hair looks like a 70’s rockers’ hair if I did not cut it as I have curly hair. Everyone including my brother and sister were talking about my long hair when I meet, so I think it is time for it to be nicely done. So this is the outcome.

erm...don't want to camwhoring too much...later not good...

I guess I have a lot to talk about since I did not blog for a week then. Another thing is that, after every points and opinion taken, yesterday I’ve decided to take German language as my elective subject( not really elective but somehow, I’m joining it for the sake of learning it only…), Japanese language classes are rather popular as after the registration line is open from midnight, the next morning, the class already exceeded the limit of students they should take. Lucky for me as German language class is still available and to make it interesting, I’m the last person to be in the quota given. Phew…but sad thing was the extra-cocuriccular activities are mostly full few hours after the line was open for registration. It is just 6 hours…who the heck can do it. Darn, spoilt my plan to finish off taking 2 credits hours this year and my plan to take golf. I guess I was lucky enough to join into equastrian sports. For the next semester, the quota for equastrian has decreased into half the students they take this semester. Our ex-instructor ever told us that horse riding on the afternoon is rather not suitable as anything can happen on the afternoon than morning, one of the thing is raining and another one is the hot weather. So practically, I understand why they do that. Thanks be to God for giving me the chance to join in the equastrian and guess what, somehow, I really get into this sports and most of my friends who joined this sports as well. We are planning to go advance for equastrian. Another interesting fact is that, we are the pioneer of the sports in UPM now as equastrian sports only opens this semester. The rest of the sports needs you to spend for the minor equipments, but due to the price of the equipments that is far more expensive that a student might not be able to have it. UPM decided to give the student free use of it. Of course at the end of the day you must return it. And a person also have to endure the smelly helmet for horse riding.I told you, I was lucky enough in this situation. Unlucky to those who did not get it and especially the people who got it but make the most stupid mistake of their life dropping the course like how birds drop their waste and forget about it. Now only they feel the wrath of it. Instead of taking that, for second semester, they only manage to hooked themselves to football. Padan muka, Now you are jealous, for flying me my aeroplane as well.
I think I need to tell on the real facts here, actually I don’t intend to take the extra co-curricular activities this year but after was convinced by a few people and some more the senior told me during our orientation week that they are not allowed to register for any course. They only can register after the first year students, so I was really convinced that I need to take the course as this is the only big oppurtunity to get what you want as senior have to give way to the junior first. For the second semester, who cares about you. Everyone only mind their own bussiness.
Anyway, moving on unto another stuff happen yesterday, I was so surprised by the fact that we have to unlock our log in to the registration through our academic advisor. It creates one question here, why should they do that? It’s somehow troublesome for both party, the students and the lecturerd themselves. Why make a fuss of doing that. Why can’t they just open the line so that you can register into it anytime you want. I was a bit piss about this as it troubled me when I looked for my academic advisor as it’s rather hard for me to find him. At least after looking for him several times today, I found him. But it was a lil too late as most of the competitive subjects especially extra co-curricular activities have reached the quota. Darn….troublesome. I only managed to get into one of the competitive subject today, that is German Language. Yay!!!

Procrastinating

haikzz, what a total chaos, this isn't true. I actually cannot post up any photos for this past few days and I can't get a reason why this happens. All i get when everytime I finish adding my photo on the list to be uploaded. the next minute. the webpage appeared with a message indicating that the webpage cannot be found...darn. I've tried it on my laptop and now on the computer at our faculty labs. It turns out that same thing happens...darn... Just hope that this won't deteroriate anymore longer.
Yay, the raya holiday is aroud the corner. As if I'm going back to Kuching to celebrate it pula. perasaan. Anyway, I can predict that this time, the holiday will be more boring then the previous holiday because this time around, less people will stay in the university as the malays are generally heading back to their hometown to celebrate Raya regardless of where is their hometown, be it as far as Tawau or as near as Serdang ( behind the wall..of UPM is an housing area... most get kicked out of college students will stay there). To cut the story short. It will really be one of the boring week of my life and I have to endure it four more years here. darn. hopefully I can find some friends to hang out with me. Hopefully can lepak somewhere during the free time. The other free time, I hope I can put my effort on revising all the subjects that have been pilling up. Somehow, I've to admit that I'm one of the person who can study better according to mood. Too bad, guys are always like that. I 'm not the type of person who can memorise well and concentrate on a thing for a long time. I'm also a procrastinator...hehe, so you know why my stuffs pilling up sometime. Hey, but one thing I've found out of myself is that I can study well in the wee hours of the morning. That one, I really can't figure out why I'm like that. got semangat pula in the wee hours of the morning, strange huh? the only problem for that is, It's hard for me to get out of the bed early in the morning to study.hehe...makin strange.....hopefully I can work this thing out. find a solution for this matter...hehe...

aiyo

hmmm...it seems like we have to go through the difficult part of the semester, finally, our assignments are pilling up and everything will be due soon. To make it seems a little worse? we are having our test from this week onwards. So, it's lots of things need to be considered. Anyway, just finished my first test on Fortran Programming. somehow the lecturer make the question a little hard for us to do, but it was lucky that we can answer it like what is expected. argh..better off now, I need to finish my three...erm 4 more assignments...all due next week or the week after next week...darn

What should be the most suitable things to do when you are so free and have nothing to do? This is the question that I’m thinking now. Well, our mid-term holiday just started for a few days, to be specific it should be only the 3rd day of our holiday, and I’m bored with nothing I can think of doing. Hey, it’s kind of weird to live in the college now as it seems that the college looks like a ‘dead’ college. Most people have gone back to their hometown for the holiday since Friday. Some might have went back since Thursday, except this poor fellow here who still stay at the college as travelling back to Kuching means that I’ve to burn around RM300 just for the air ticket alone. Anyway, to make the matter even worse, the canteen decided to let those people especially those not going back to starve without any food as they close for the holiday. Macam lah they holiday also. Darn, so this few days I have to find myself food around the campus or outside of campus. Huhu, perhaps instant noodles will be served daily as part of my menu. Who cares whether instant noodles is considered as unhealthy, if you are in a situation like this, this things will fill your stomach up no matter what it takes. Anyway, this will only happens for a few days as I will be going to Ipoh soon. Hehe.
If you were to ask me what can I think of Ipoh now, I would say …..food….food…food…*coughprettygirlscough*…and food. Strange huh???. I must admit that I really like to find places with good food, no matter what it takes, cause eating nice food or perhaps tasty food will means that you have tasted the authentic taste of it. Erm, sometime, the price is not a matter for me. But it must not exceed my budget. I guess it is due to the fact that Kuching is a heaven for all the great food around so it actually influences me to look for great food wherever I go. I’m craving for food…hehe.
Ohya, Ravin and Kin Fong thanks for making an effort to go out with me even though it was Merdeka Day. It was really packed anywhere in KL even in the KTM commuter. Getting a ride in the commuter is quite hard that day as the commuters were packed and no one willing to give way to those who are coming out of commuters. It ends up that some might not get out to their destination that they intended to go. One of the lady even shouted from inside the train yelling ,”Hey, tolong bagi laluan kepada yang mahu keluar!!” then everyone is like petrified with her shouting then barulah she managed to get herself out of the commuter. So, in a nutshell, we should be tolerance towards each other, hey, we should apply what we learn in P. Moral. Not just learn it by theory then ends up forgetting it after SPM. We must apply it….hehe.
Anyway, I’ve a chance to go into UM that day thanks to Kin Fong that invited me to his hostel to have a look. UM is rather small as compared to UPM but they are much longer established. Like what Ravin quoted, that’s the price of having a University at the heart of KL, where land value is considered high.
P/s: Ravin thanks for your chocs...it's been a long time I've never make myself fat with that....haha...

Jam??

Well, I've found out a common phenemenon in a large city but guess what? UPM also has its own jam which occur this few days. I don't mind if it happens but if it affect my time of going to the destination I'm heading then I wanna say it out. But, it was ok, not a bad jam though. Just that, it is due to the convocation that is held this few days plus they are lots and lots of people coming to UPM for UPM's " Ekspo Tani" so overall, UPM is in carnival now. hehe.. plus some more it's more on carnival as most students are thinking of "balik kampung". Today will be our last day of lectures before our mid semester break starting tomorrow. It's a longer holiday as it coincide with the Merdeka Day which will be tomorrow. Unfortunately, this fellow here is unable to go back this time around. The holiday is rather too short me to head back for Kuching...plus, I need to consider on the air ticket that is quite expensive. No fuss, hopefully I will spend my holiday as useful as possible. A few plans has been set and hopefully I can utilised my time with all my plans. erm... most importantly, to catch up my study that I have lack behind since..erm around few weeks back. Somemore, I've assignments and assignments to do. A total of 3 assignments that I need to finish in 3 weeks time...argh...hopefully, I will finish it in time. or else I'm not going to pass the subjects.
Ohya, tonight I will be going to Putrajaya to watch the fireworks that will be displayed there. Hopefully can get a good catch on the colourful fireworks...hehe...got class to go now...hopefully can write a longer post the next time.

++

Although it’s been more than five months that I saw you, but hey, I will remember you always and I won’t forget what you have contributed. You have make me learn, making me more experienced in this field. It was a joy and it will as well be remembered although you have left without any sigh and sound. You go out of sudden after someone had snatched it from me. For now, even I have a new one to replace, but hey, I won’t forget your deed like what I mentioned just now. The new one to replace you is non-other than W80(hey, it’s not W800, the SE handphone), my current addiction towards the photography world.
Hey, I have a new camera for now, and guess what, my enthusiast towards photography starts again and I’m craving to take more nice pictures around…hehe…sounds like paparazzi pula, holding camera and bring it everywhere I go. Anyway, It’s nice to have one in my hand now so that I can take down any precious moment I’ve found and I might share it in the blog if I found it suitable then. Now, what is left is to pay back what I owe to my friend, I must pay him back as soon as possible so that I will feel relieved about it.
Finally, my test finished and I’m kind of relieved for now after cramming everything into the brain until I experienced headache the few days of test. I must say that this time my test I did all the best I could and I’ve found myself to score in a few subjects to my surprise…hehe. But this doesn’t apply to university required subjects like Tamadun Islam and Asia & Kenegaraan Malaysia.
Hey, anyone can help me in giving comments on what should I do as whether to take JPA scholarship or not. It seems to me that the offer they give me have more liabilities than assets. Which mean that it’s kind of ‘berat sebelah’, It’s weird though, but, I’m really in dilemma a bit on this issue. Plus some more I cannot send in my application to get my flight tickets sponsored today as they only mentioned that I need to send that by today. Hey, my form and everything is in Kuching during the weekend and now I don’t even know where the heck my offer letter is. It could be at the airport or at the post office now. Hmmm….so, in other words, since I’ve not pass up my form to get my flight tickets sponsored, my scholarship decreased by rm2800, which is a big amount to me. Gosh, not only that, it means that the money that I get throughout my course is less than what the PTPTN give. It is far less than what I thought the JPA would give me. Boy, I was wrong, this is like…erm not a good sign for me.
The 2nd liability I found out was the scholarship requires me to work for the government for 6 years. It’s ok to work with them but the problem is, the amount they give for the scholarship is not worthy with 6 years of working in government. It seems a lil unfair here. And I was surprise to find out that my sister needs to work for 7 years only, and she is studying abroad with everything fully sponsored. Can you see the different? The amount of my scholarship is 20k, my sis get around 150k…..
Not only that, if I failed one of the rules and regulations that they set, I will need to pay 5 times the amount I get which means I need to pay around 110k if I fail it.
Argh….It has more liabilities than assets which make me really need to think hard on it. Hey, the liabilities I mentioned above is just a portion of it I found out. If I were to mention it here, it kind of takes time. And I’m risking myself to be in trouble. So I would rather stop here as it will really troubles me if I’m still mentioning it…hehe.
P/s, hopefully, you people can help me in giving any advice, any advice will be appreciated. If you want know more about what other liabilities I’ve found out, you can directly ask me. I will explained it to you then…
=D
==this post was written two days ago....n again due to some technical error or perhaps I should say that due to bad conection here, I was unable to post it up in the blogger

Assignments vs Assasination..

Lately, I've found myself to be involved in so many things that I don't have a great time to have a good rest, it's either I have a meeting or I've to study for my test which will be this week and next week. I really don't want what has happened in the first test to happen again. Argh, I regretted not to study the extra notes that our Materials' lecturer gave us, which leads to so many of us cannot answer his paper...kena trick liao....aduh...Anyway, besides that, I'm rushing to finish off revising everything hopefully by tommorow afternoon before I can have a good weekend rest with my family...hehe...yeah! my family is coming over tomorrow, it's quite rare nowadays to have all the members of my family gathers around. In chinese New Year also, my sister cannot be here with us due to the distance and no holiday available for her. Even if my sister came back, my brother cannot come back to Kuching as he's working in KL. duh... now plus me again, pursuing my study oversea...(note that I don't put s on oversea as we are only seperated by South China Sea bah....) hee...
Not only that, I'm kind of busy as I need to finish lots of my assignments. For example, Kenegeraan Malaysia where we have to do on the title " Dasar Wanita Negara & Dasar Belia Negara"...it's a hard topic isn't it?? anyone have extra ideas on what should be in the content? Well, my group members are kind of scared for now after watching the first group present and they were bombarded by tonnes of questions. Some of the questions even not related to what they are presenting. It's all started when the lecturer decided to give bonus marks to other groups who ask question(s) to the presenting group. die liao...dahlah we are the last group to present ...which mean about 10 weeks from now...duh. Not only that, we have to passed up another project soon, which is 5 weeks from now. erm, this one is more to survey type where we have to approach people and asked their opinion on certain issue. Our lecturer decided to give us another option that is to use questionnaire instead.fuh....
My group was giving the topic of " what and How does the Indian undergraduates think on globalization"...It's sounds ok but to find a group of Indian community is a tough task. Should get the chinese or Malays..it will be easier.
Hey, not only I'm quite busy for this few weeks, I guess my appetite rate have grown up for no reason. See that? I'm getting cute again...hehe, no lah, I won't be cute so easily again except if you forced me to sit and do nothing for whole day. It ain't easy to be cute again as I've to walk to and fro from college and faculty. and sometime, when I'm hungry, I can walk to other colleges' food court just to eat. But, frequently I used buses to go to other colleges to eat. It's free ride anyway.
aiyo, terpesong tajuk a lil bit...
3rd reason for why I'm busy, our Engineering Maths lecturer decided to let us to be independent for some ways. In other words decided to make us do everything or digest any information on our own. She decided to give us tutorial questions which are so hard that many of us can't even solve it. It's like level 5 question that she gave us. Compare to my other friends from different courses, their questions are much more easier and if I were to rate it, their questions should level 2 or 3 only. I cannot finish my tutorial as I've found out that I cannot do question one after another...and the level of understanding are much more higher as you go down the list of questions. Duh... one undone tutorial, and she gave us another paper of tutorial...aduh...really have to cramped my head tonight. For your information, most of the questions she gave, she no even teach us yet. It's like everything thrown to us like we are the dustbin...hmmmm...
P/s: The word assination above is used as an illustration to show the same sound of both words, no person is killed or harm in this post...heee =D

ARgh.!!

WTF…..I’m really pissed off for now, what in this world that people kept bugging me. I’m really pissed at the direct selling personals who came into my room and promote their company….arghh…really have no idea how in this world they know that my room has two Chinese speaking guys. Their preys are all the 1st year Chinese and I got myself into this trouble as they know that I can speak Chinese. Darn I shall not speak more Chinese for now.better for me to stick into speaking more English instead. This two guys eventually one of it is my senior kept on looking for me to introduce me to X company who sell those direct-selling products. And they came to my room not just yesterday but a 2 times dah. For the first time, they only tell me to go to one talk which they said will help you in life. But,(this really makes me feel stupid now… =( ….) it turns out to be their talk on the way they succeeded in life due to direct-selling…I was fooled though…feel dumb for now…..darn. Anyway, they thought that I was interested instead…hey, wad the heck, I went because I give face to the senior…and he cheated on me. And he makes me don’t believe in him anymore.(lesson: don’t cheat on me if you are not close to me….I will not believe you anymore…). At the end, I was really pissed off with them bugging me and I makes me to decide on taking a decision I’ve never made before, since one of them( the cheating senior) have cheated on me, might as well I fooled them a lil bit. So, I’ve decided to tell them I’m actually a direct-seller from Y company. Practically I only lies if it is necessary, in this situation, the keep’s on bugging me, if I don’t do something, I will be in trouble throughout my 4 YEARS stay in UPM. But, they still want to promote their company and ask me of the benefit around, so what can I do, I can only listen to them talking all junk that is thrown at me…my heart was all geram…geram but I didn’t showed it, and act nice….not to the stage for me to letup yet.
Lastly, they asked me back on my opinion, and this is great opportunity to makes get rid of them from talking nonsense and wasting my time of studying. I told them, one is enough, I don’t want to make my life complicated….then they don’t have anything to say but just told me that if I wanna ‘tukar’ then can find them…Tell you ah, I won’t change my lies that I joined Y company…eventhough I’m not a member.Anyway, I would like to thanks two of my friends who come and knock my door and interrupted the nonsense talks….and I’m glad that they ask me for my penyapu and ask me “ada duit pecah ah”….yes!!!It’s like God send two angels to make them pissed… One of the guy eventually get pissed when my 2nd friend come…and it is nothing important then asking me for “DUIT PECAH!!!!”, The guy got pissed and he teased my friend but for me, I was so happy to say, no problem, “kamu duit pecah, saya bagi kamu sekarang juga…” hahaha….another one of my friend Hisham, come and knock my door twice, one is to borrow my broom, 2nd to return it…hehe…padan muka the guys who keep bugging me. Consider them ‘unlucky’ that I did not spread my Good News to them though…I was just geram that time that I can’t think much…Lots of thanks to God for his miracle…Praise God for all He has done…sometime God will help us during the time when we don’t even know that He was there to guide like what has happened to me….Give thanks to the Lord
Anyway, moved on to what I did during the weekend, Again, it was a busy weekend as well, both for necessary and the unnecessary.hehe, Anyway, finally, I’ve the chance to ride on a horse, the name of the horse is Hobo. Hehe, indeed a new experience for me. I’ve learnt a few commands so that the horse can move like walk, throat and canton. Not only that, I just got to know one thing and only if you joined equestrian then you will know about it. But, this time around I’m going to share this. Horses have 3 genders…..I think most people will go “hah!!” when they heard of this, aren’t you also the same?hehe, I did. Well, like usual, horses also have male(Stallion) and female(Mare) but there is another gender that is (gelding),that is male horses that has their reproductive system being cut-off. The reason they do this because, Stallion are very wild sometime and not easy to handle. For the first time riding a horse, it will be worse. The horse that I rode on is a Gelding. You must call a horse by its name, they will come to you…really!!this is real as horses are really2x sensitive. And they are not ganas actually. Just that sometime when they turn ‘freak’ because they are sensitive. Like you appeared to them out of sudden. Will tell more next time around and when I know anything new.
Ok, that was Saturday. On Sunday, I’ve decided to go down to KL to attend a church service. It’s been a while I didn’t go to church. Feel a bit guilty on that…heee. Anyway, after that, I went to KLCC for the PC Fair.
This is the first time I see KLCC full of crowd and the Putra LRT heading to KLCC were overcrowded with human. Luckily, Putra LRT is based on punctuality of their service, so it’s quite frequent to get a ride on it. There will be a train coming average around 5 minutes. But,each ride are full.duh. This is the first time I went to such a big Fair in my life and it is on IT products some more. The area of the fair is so big that it took 5 halls of the KL convention Centre. Got even one hall specially just to sell all sound system related stuffs. Another Hall is used just to sell Laptop and this is where you can see all the dealer making crazy deal. Let me just give you a bit of what is happening around with the crazy deal. One of my friends bought a Toshiba Laptop for RM3700+ and he got himself a free 4 in 1 printer, the printer worth around rm250 in the PC fair only. Actually price around Rm350. Anyway, another friend of mine got herself a new Compaq Laptop for RM2100+ and guess what she got? She got a RM300 voucher from AirAsia that we keep telling her that, she got a free ride back to Sarawak and the laptop only worth Rm1800…haha..This deal, you won’t see it in Kuching PC fair then. Sony on the other hand compete with other major companies by selling their products cheaper then normal and not only that, they features few sexy girls to promote their VAIO and giving out leaflets…duh, all the other company especially the dealer themselves also use sexy girls technique...duh ….Anyway, move on…. Then all the ‘pengunjung’ have to follow the flow and once you’ve miss and left the hall, you cannot go back in again. You just need to follow the direction to another hall. If anyone wish to go back to the previous hall, they need to turn one more round back to the hall again. (the entrance is on the 3rd floor..then exit is on the ground floor….hehe. so you know how big it is. But KL Convention Centre is quite huge and has nice scenery then. Anyway another three halls one the ground floor are combined and it’s the place for all the other company besides the dealer to open booths. This hall is where you can find lots of gadget at bargain price. You can find lots of gadgets there. That place was huge that I cannot make my complete survey. I only target a few stalls and survey their price then I buy what I wanted to buy without further a do. Anyway, I bought a few items for my sister and myself as well. And I spent everything until I almost go ‘pokai’ that day. If you wish to withdraw money that time there, you need to queue for about an hour to get the money. Darn..if you have visa or mastercard then it will be different story. I left the place after around 3 hours there and it was due to the fact that I was dehydrated.hehe….
Anyway, every major Train Stations were jam-packed on Sunday, and it forces the commuter company to hire polis bantuan to help up…duh…
Last but not least, I’m having my test for this week and next week. Wish me luck!!!My test today, I did it badly…gosh, all of my coursemate are trick by our own lecturer…all cannot answer most of his question….duh!!! bad start…

P/s: this post contain might contain some contains that can be quite sensitive for some of you. I apologised for if it hurts certain people’s feeling especially on the first issue. It is just my thought. Please don’t try the method except it is really in need. It’s not good to lie, I feel a bit guilty on that..hehe…. =D

What's happening to the world today huh? Well, my advice to you people out there not to believe any promotion made by direct seller or anything, it will be different story if you really wanna join it. I will comment about it later.
This week should be one of my busy week around as I have lots of things to be done in a week. Well, last Wednesday I join the course night was organised by the seniors and it is organised once in a year. We had our dinner at a Steamboat(shabu-shabu...I'm not sure why it's called shabu2x oso) restaurant at Sri Petaling. Now I shall comment on myself instead. Being the most sakai guy around....yup I'm admitting this, throughout the whole way of goin Sri Petaling new township, I was in fact really a sakai that came to a big town...hehe. Well, the rest of my coursemates are either from KL or some part of Selangor, so they really know the place well. But, I guess this should be the very first time we entour thru the Bukit Jalil area to go to Sri Petaling. My friends who are from Shah Alam keep introducing to the place at Bukit Jalil when we passed by certain areas. For example, The Bukit Jalil stadium(damn...it's really big though), then the Pusat Penyiaran Astro, where your favourite Channels are broadcasted. then the Indoor Stadium...n blabla...being a sakai of me, I keep looking around as I can't see clearly as it was night time.
Moving on, we had a wonderful night with our seniors there ranging from 1st year to 4th year..no 3rd year only....there is no 3rd year in Aerospace Engineering and the story is quite long...and it is related between the government and UPM, so I shouldn't elaborate much. Anyway, although our batch this year only had a few gurls in the Aerospace Programme..but guess what, even pretty gurl can join Aerospace engineering, so who say that girls are incapable...hehe. We had even one senior who are a part time actor at NTV7, believe me, he got the job as he ever joined one of the reality show that is still aired in NTV7 and it is the Malaysiam Star Idol where they look for potential chinese actor/actress. Both of them are in fourth year. It was a chance for us to know more about this course and they eventually shared a lot of stuffs with us including the job prospect. Their story on job prospects are more or less like what I've told you before. That is Aerospace Engineering is just a stepping stone and it is not necesarily that you should work as Aerospace Engineer at the end of the day but more becoming something else. They even told us what can we do. For example, a few graduates eventually works for 4 years as Aerospace Engineer and they took a test and they become an Aircraft Maintanance Engineer. Some of those took flying test and they become pilot. So, sometime you will never know that actually certain pilots not only know how to fly a plane but they know everything about plane. don't look small on them. haha, most of us have agreed eventually to take flying licence next time as it will be not good if you know how to maintain a plane but you don't know how to fly it. like if you know how to maintain a car but you don't know how to drive it...weird kan??
Ok move on to another topic, Well, I was considered lucky as I've the chance of meeting my ex-roomie today. I mean my ex-roomie at Labuan. He studied at USM now. He came down with the other USM students to join in the NCC( National Career Carnival) that was held here in UPM itself and it is officiated by YAB Dato Abdullah himself. so it's a big event but our classes are still carried on even there is a big event in UPM.hehe. so I don't have the chance to join in that. We had a long chat about lots of stuffs happening here and there. He is the first person to visit me when I'm in UPM..cheers!!I hope more coming up soon.Darn, he has a chance to go shopping with USM identity and he can go down KL for free n stay here for free. I go KL like bukit bintang need to pay rm 10 like that just for transport..darn..
The strangest thing that happened was when We were having lunch at one of the cafeteria at UPM (to be specific cafe k12 and K14), suddenly, a promoter come and promote their company's privilege card which when used, you can have discount for your stay in any hotels that is in their list...nah, I don't have money though, but my ex-roomie decided to invite her to sit and he pretended to like interested into it but the real fact is he just want to chat only..hehe, evil evil masih sama like what he is when he was in Labuan...I know dah...
Then, baru few mins ago, I was kind of kena trapped by seniors to join the direct selling company, although this company is well known, but I really don't wanna join, sorry...even their plan sounds very interesting with their agents becoming millionaire before graduate...My conclusion, direct selling mah....always like that, there will be up and down on that...hehe
P/s: to what extend, this is just a comment from me, don't ever trust anything easily especially when you are in a big city like KL...chiao
