Tastes...

Have u ever do something that really out of what your are thinking of?? Well, few days ago during our latihan bengkel, I've a taste of becoming a plumber...it's not easy though especially if you are dealing with galvanized pipes which can last long if you use it for your house piping...It was during the practical that our instructor decided to ask us to do all sort of 'works'(erm...it's assignment actually) related to piping. So, to cut the whole crap short...as before. Basically we are assigned this week to do piping again..(last week we did that as well...)and we are given the task of making the thread those pipes...without using any machine ...and all is truly man powers. The things that were provided was only a few tools that some of them is bought dated back from 1960s....so you can imagine how it looks like.Anyway, marks will be given based on the outcome that we gained..like how your threading looks like...is it 'selari' and so on...
Guess I was out of luck this time around...while drilling a whole on a piece of metal...the hole that I punched were not centered enough so...at the end...my 'masterpiece' jadi senget pula....darn...never mind lah...but It was a great experience doing piping and it actually trains your muscle as you need to use lots of your energy just to do the threading...bear in mind that it's steel pipe...not the normal plastic pipe that we found on our house nowadays...maybe next time you can ask me to repair your house's piping system...maybe I can help provided that you give me all the tools and ...hehe $$$ also....haha I make the last one out.Guess this is what an engineering should learn to do...as what is the point if an engineer knows all the theory but at the end of the day, doesn't know how to operate something...indeed it's a good platform...
P/s: next week we will disembling the machine...and lots more to come...like making concrete, milling, welding...etc.Oh ya, hopefully by the end of this month, this blog will have a lil changes to the appearance...just a lil .... xD
